Pagerank being updated at the End of February 2008

I can see pagerank jumping up and down for my site today and it seems like my homepage is now Pr 3, although some datacenters are still showing pr 0, so that means Pagerank update is on its way. The last update was in January and many of the people were expecting an update in Later March, but its a good surprise from the Big Google, as they also updated their Terms of Service a couple of days ago.

You can check your pagerank easily by going to any of the sites listed in google for “Pagerank Checker” query.

UK gambler makes $1.97 million off $1 Bet

A lucky gambler has made about $1.97 million, from a 50 pence ($1) bet.The man, correctly guessed the outcome of eight horse races Friday, beating odds of two-million-to-one.

William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe says the man was oblivious to his win when he came to a different William Hill branch Saturday to place more 50 pence bets. Sharpe said the man had not won any of Saturday’s wagers, losing 2.50 pounds.

William Hill, operates more than 2,000 betting shops across UK.
