Anoop Desai, The American Idol contestant, is ready to launch his debut single “My Name”.
“‘My Name’ was influenced by my Indian cultural background.” “It’s a pop record, but definitely influenced by a Bollywood feel,” he told People.com.

My name was released on March 23, 2010 and his debut album, All is Fair, is set to release on May 4, 2010.

‘My Name’ has a double meaning. On one hand, it’s a response to kids that used to make fun of my name when I was little. I wanted my first contribution to be something that said, ‘Hey, my name is now cool, not something to be ashamed of’

“It’s also about false bravado. Each song on the “All is Fair” album describes a mindset or a time in my life. My Name is about going to a club and trying to act like a big deal. Really, that mentality stems from some lack of confidence, but I think we’ve all done it at some point.”

The popular AI contestant has already performed his single at Malan Breton’s Bolly-wood inspired fashion show during NYC’s Fashion Week as Breton showed off his Fall 2010 collection. So far, he has received very positive response to his song, “My Name”.

She also said if there is a positive outlook towards changing the mindset, she would act in a movie about racism.

Even though her last few releases didn’t get hit but she seems ready for a comeback and has signed up for an important role in UTV Spotboy’s No One Killed Jessica.The actress is looking forward to No one killed Jessica, a film based on the murder of Delhi model Jessica Lall in which she plays a journalist. She said it’s a very different and powerful role, so I don’t know how my fans are going to react to it, but I am looking forward to it as it is an interesting movie based on a true life story. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Gupta. Vidya Balan is also starring in the movie along with Rani.

Rani said that the role in Dil Bole Hadippa was a wonderful role. She also got to experiment with Cricket or Play cricket, which she had never played in her life. She also said that it feels good to feel like a man. She is excited for No one Killed Jessica.

Rani also revealed that if she weren’t an actress, she would have been a housewife, and raising her kids probably in Allahabad or Kolkata or somewhere where she lived.

At least this way, he can use this break to reflect on the work he has done and analyze himself.

Shahid’s next release is Paathshaala in which he appears for about one third of the movie. He plays a teacher in the film that also stars Ayesha Takia.

Then there is also a point where the two eventually realize how much they love each other. After working together in Aladin, now this is their second movie together and they seem like a nice couple.

Baweja won the Worst Actor award for his performance in ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ and Kareena won the Worst Actress award for her role in ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. Rani Mukerji’s ‘Dil Bole Hadippa!’ was given the Most Original Story award for being copied from Hollywood’s ‘She’s The Man’ while her pairing with Shahid Kapoor was named the Worst Pair. The movie was also a big flop and so was Shahid Kapoor’s Kaminey.
None of these actors actually got a hit film.

Movie maker, Madhur Bhandarkar, won the “Bas Kijiye Bahut Ho Gaya (Please stop its Enough) Award”!, asking him to stop making films.

Randy Quaid and Evi were arrested in connection with an ongoing Californian court case. They are accused of not paying a bill at the Santa Barbara hotel, where they stayed last summer. The bill is about $10,000.

Since Hrithik Roshan has completed filming his new film “Kites”, which is set to be released in 2010. I would like to see Harman Baweja, starring in the same movie as HR, because it seems like Harman may be as talented as HR, because his performance in Love Story 2050 with Priyanka was amazing.
