Alexa.Com is the website which most of the advertisers check ranks of websites and according to Alexa Rank, they buy advertisement on that website. So many webmasters want to have the lowest alexa rank in order to get some good advertisers.

Alexa rank is measured according to the amount of users who’ve visited a website with and without the Alexa toolbar installed in their web browser. The lower it is, the better it is. So here are some tips for decreasing your alexa rank.

• Most Importantly install the alexa toolbar, which you can get from their official website.
• Put the Alexa rank widget in your website, its also one of the best way.
• Alexa redirects no longer works, so don’t bother redirecting your url with alexa in front.
• Dugg or Stumble your website and if you have some nice content, you will surly get traffic.
• Get content that visitors will back for, so the higher traffic you will get, the lower your alexa rank will be.
• Join a webmaster forum and mostly webmasters have alexa toolbar installed, put your website in your signature, that will surely help.

Some say its easy to make your alexa rank low by using Alexa auto surfers, but I suggest you don’t use them, I never used them and I don’t think Auto surfers help in this thing.
