Description Carson Daly talked about teaming up with Guinness to make St. Patrick's Day a national holiday in the United States. My main focus on the interview, which was conducted in mid March of 2008, was about how NBC has just fired some of his writers, the effects of the writer's strike on his show "Last Call" and Carson possibly becoming the new host of NBC's "Late Night". We also talked about his previous work on "Total Request Live" on MTV. I got teh feeling that Carson wasn't comfortable talking about these issues with NBC, but overall, he handled them well.
