Description If your goal is victory at any cost, you can summon Soltaire. You have to have spoken to him before, and you must be in human form to summon. Focus on burning one down as quickly as you can so they can't tag-team you. Their HP is really low, so it isn't hard to do. A shield can block most of the damage from the fire. If you want the Axe (or two Axes), then you should try my strat of breaking your lock-on as the gargoyle moves. This will help you hit the tail like a BOSS. Jonvandamm of gamefaqs also reported good success with a large weapon's R2 attack. If you want two, just break the tail, get the axe, die, and do it again. As for the freeze... it's the only real complaint I have about the game so far. So for the poor commentary.
