Description Sacrificing, one life to please the tradition of thousands of commoners, higher-class members, royalty and gods, justifying their deed by the logic of give and take. The idea is that by sacrificing a life or a statue the Nile will give back more goods and riches. In Egypt, long time ago every August, people used to select the most beautiful girl and throw her in the Nile river, as a gift. I intend to show in my piece the emotions of the girl at the moment she is thrown in the water. While everyone experiences satisfaction and happiness, she is the only one who faces death and no one cares about what she feels.
