I know I did. :D The idea for doing a "Manual-Tune" song came about shortly after T-Pain began completely abusing the "Auto-Tune" function in songs back in 2005. I've been wanting to do this for a very, very long time. But singing and cutting up the individual notes for an entire T-Pain song to mimic Auto-Tune would have been a little too tedious. So when Jason Derulo started rocking the Auto-Tune only on specific phrases, I knew it was go time. Partially inspired and encouraged by the videos of MysteryGuitarMan (if you haven't seen his stuff, go check them out). www.youtube.com Chords Used: E, D6, D, A On ukulele I tuned my uke A, D, F#, B (instead of GCEA) and played: D (7655) C6 (2433) or sometimes just C C (5433) G (4232) Instruments Used: Fluke Ukulele Martin-like Guitar Hohner Melodica Organ LapDrum (by SlapDrum) paintbrush pencil Sterilite plastic container Swingline stapler voice (and several hours of singing individual notes). Not as many pop culture references as usual in this video, but for fans (read "crazy stalkers") of CommunityChannel who felt like ending their internet-relationship with her for putting Mitch into so many of her vids, you'll probably enjoy this.
