jblm cares patient townhall

JBLM CARES Patient Town Hall Wendy Writer On Friday, July 14th at 2pm, Madigan Army Medical Center invited its patients and the public to a town hall at the newly opened JBLM Center for Autism Resources, Education and Services (CARES). CARES is a joint installation partnership between Madigan Army Medical Center and the JBLM Armed Forces Community Service which focuses on providing patient-centered care for military children with autism and their families. Madigan, who has been keen on utilizing social media to better communicate with it's patients and the community, also streamed the event live on Facebook. Command staff and CARES leadership answered questions ranging from eligibility, EFMP, services offered, referrals, and what families PCSing to JBLM can expect from the facility.
