She's been making waves ever since her song Gucci Gucci hit the web last month, which also got her signed to SOny recently as well. But she's essentially kicking off her career with a major dis towards Nicki Minaj. She said in an interview with COmplex magazine, "No disrespect to [Nicki Minaj] but when it comes to inspiring young women, her message is to be a Barbie-to be plastic, to be fake, to all have blonde hair." Nicki fans have attacked Kreayshawn on Twitter,slamming her for her comments, which prompted a new interview with Billboard in which she honors Nicki for being independent and powerful. Kreayshawn also has people in a tizzy over her usage of the N word. It comes up in Gucci Gucci, and K defends it, saying it's normal practive in her native Oakland, CA.
