She just landed the coveted role of Clary Fray in movie Mortal Instruments, which is adapted from the book series. So to get in touch with her character and her fans, Lily decided to create a separate Twitter, where she tweets as the role of Clary. She said she got the idea after fans reached out to her, tweeting their excitement over her landing the role of the heroine. Lily spoke with MTV and told them the studio wanted her to continue to be in touch with the fans of the series because they wanted their input. She said it's a great way for them to be involved in the process, and help make the movie as big of a success as the book series.
